Vintage 60’s Green Dress- Buffalo Exchange/ Retro White Circled Earrings- Swellegant Vintage/Zara Heels/ Vintage Blue Baby Doll Dress- Buffalo Exchange/White Pointed Toe Heels- Zara

I recently got the opportunity to work with good friend and incredibly talented photographer Roxy Rodriguez, on a super “me” project. I first met Roxy on a shoot that I worked on for also amazing photographer, Megan Jeanne, where Roxy modeled and I had the pleasure of styling her. Now roles reversed, Roxy and I wanted to create a fun 60’s Mod inspired editorial to reflect the iconic looks of the well known modernist such as Twiggy, Edie Sedgwick, and Anna Karina. Any shoot I have the opportunity to express my love for 60’s Mod is a shoot fit for me. Besides the 1920’s, the 60’s is one of my favorite decades to grasp inspiration from, probably because like the 20’s I’m drawn the the clean cut bobs and ladylike spunk.

For my first two looks with Roxy I chose these bold colored original 60’s dresses that captured the right loud energy mood I feel whenever I put on a mod piece. There are many more looks and even a fun behind the scenes video to come to stay posted to see the rest of my 60’s Mod shoot with Roxy!
